Itinerary: Mkomazi National Park Day Safari

• Morning: After an early breakfast, depart from Moshi or Arusha (drive time approx. 2.5–3 hours depending on your location). Arrive at Mkomazi Gate and complete park entry formalities.
• Safari Game Drive: Begin your full-day game drive inside the park. Explore the dry open plains and riverbanks in search of wildlife such as elephants, zebras, elands, kudu, hartebeest, buffalo, and predators like lions and cheetahs.
• Visit the Rhino Sanctuary (Optional): Take a guided visit to the Mkomazi Rhino Sanctuary to learn about black rhino conservation efforts and, with some luck, see these rare creatures up close.
• Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the designated picnic sites inside the park with views of the mountains or watering holes.
Afternoon: Continue with a short game drive before exiting the park and returning to Moshi or Arusha in the late afternoon.
