Founder & Lead Guide | 23+ Years of Experience

I was born in Machame Village, nestled on the majestic slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro—where adventure is part of everyday life. My journey as a guide began humbly, climbing the mountain to earn a little pocket money. What started as a simple way to support myself quickly grew into a deep passion, one that has become my life’s calling.

For over 23 years, I have dedicated myself to guiding climbers and explorers from all over the world. I have worked with several respected tour companies, summited Mount Kilimanjaro more than 300 times, and explored every corner of Tanzania’s world-renowned national parks. Along the way, I have also had the privilege of traveling abroad, where I learned from diverse cultures and broadened my perspective on what makes a journey truly meaningful.

These decades of experience have shaped my vision and deepened my commitment to sharing the beauty of my homeland. Through my own travel agency, I aim to offer more than just tours—I create immersive journeys that capture the breathtaking landscapes, vibrant culture, and warm spirit of Tanzania. My mission is to ensure that every guest leaves not only with photographs, but with unforgettable memories and a genuine connection to this land I am proud to call home.

Born and raised in Tanzania, Janeth embodies the entrepreneurial spirit and deep love for her homeland’s natural beauty. From a young age, she was inspired by the stories of travelers and the transformative power of exploration. Determined to make her mark, she built her career on creating exceptional travel experiences that blend adventure, comfort, and authentic cultural connection.
As an accomplished entrepreneur, Janeth brings a keen eye for detail, a passion for hospitality, and strong organizational skills to the heart of our operations. She is the driving force behind ensuring every itinerary runs seamlessly—from the first inquiry to the moment guests board their flight home.

Our team is a close-knit community, with most of our employees residing in Arusha, fostering mutual respect and collaboration among everyone, from management to guides and porters. We are committed to ethical practices, and we strictly adhere to the standards set by the Kilimanjaro Porters Assistance Project to ensure fair treatment for our porters.
