Itinerary: Marangu Waterfall & Chagga Culture Tour

Morning Pickup: Depart from Moshi or Arusha around 7:30–8:00 AM. Enjoy a scenic drive through the fertile Kilimanjaro countryside to Marangu village (approx. 1.5–2 hours from Moshi).
Waterfall Hike: Embark on a guided nature walk through coffee and banana farms, passing local homes and lush vegetation. The trail leads to Ndoro Waterfall, one of the most beautiful falls on Kilimanjaro’s lower slopes. Enjoy the view and take a refreshing dip in the cool, clear waters if you wish—don’t forget your swimwear!
Chagga Cultural Tour: Visit a traditional Chagga home, learn about local customs, farming techniques, and food preservation. Explore the Chagga caves, originally built to protect families and livestock from Maasai invasions centuries ago.
Coffee Tour: Learn the full process of making Chagga Arabica coffee, from picking and roasting to grinding and brewing. Join in traditional songs and dance, then enjoy a fresh cup of local coffee you helped prepare.
Lunch: Enjoy a hot local meal with Chagga flavors, often including banana stew, rice, vegetables, and seasonal fruits.
Optional Visit: If time allows, you may visit the Marangu Gate of Kilimanjaro National Park, where climbers begin the Marangu Route trek (entry not included).
Afternoon Return: Depart Marangu in the mid to late afternoon and return to Moshi or Arusha.
