This 9-day adventure blends mountain landscapes, thrilling wildlife encounters, and a relaxing island getaway. Start with a day hike on Mount Kilimanjaro via the Shira Plateau, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views and a taste of Africa’s highest peak without the full climb.
Continue with a 5-day safari across Tanzania’s most iconic parks, including Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire, where you’ll witness the Big Five and experience the magic of the African wilderness.
End your journey with 3 days in Zanzibar, exploring Stone Town’s rich culture, visiting spice farms and historic sites, and relaxing on the island’s white-sand beaches along the turquoise Indian Ocean.

Day 0 : Pickup to Airport
You will be picked up from airport. From there you will go to the hotel in Moshi for an orientation on your trek.
Your guides will be there to provide you with details on your trek and will also check your trekking
gears.
Day 1: Shira Plateau Day Hike and Return
• Morning: After breakfast at your hotel in Moshi, you will meet your guide and drive approximately 2.5 hours to the Londorossi Gate (2,250m) on the western side of Mount Kilimanjaro. After registration, continue driving to the Shira Gate (3,400m), the starting point of your hike.
• Hike: Begin your hike across the Shira Plateau, surrounded by stunning views of Kilimanjaro’s upper slopes, rolling alpine meadows, and volcanic rock formations. On a clear day, you may see Kibo Peak and Mount Meru in the distance.
• Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot on the plateau.
Descent: After lunch and exploration, return to the vehicle and drive back to Moshi in the late afternoon.
Elevation: 3,400m / 11,155ft → up to ~3,800m / 12,467ft (depending on turnaround point)
Distance: ~6–8 km hiking (plus ~2.5 hours drive each way)

Day 2: Arusha to TARANGIRE PARK OR Lake Manyara National Park.
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Manyara or Tarangire National Park for a full day game drive in beautiful Manyara National Park. See buffalo, giraffe, zebra and many more species, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Great Rift Wall. Dinner and overnight at Campsite or Lodge.

Day 3: Lake Manyara – Serengeti National Park
Set out for the endless open plains and stunning skies of the Serengeti. A scenic four hour drive, full day game drive together with late evening game drive.

Day 4: Serengeti National Park
Early morning game drive Serengeti National Park, back for breakfast and relax, again proceed for a full day game drive with picnic lunches.

Day 5: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater Rim
– Wake up at 0600hrs for early morning game drives in Serengeti at 0845hrs back to the lodge/ Camp for breakfast. Then check out and drive with lunch and game viewing en-route to Ngorongoro Crater Rim. You will pass via Olduvai Gorge the archaeological site.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater tour – back to Arusha/Moshi.
Early breakfast, proceed directly to the Crater floor for a full day crater tour with picnic lunches.

Day 7: Stone Town & Sunset Dhow Cruise
Morning: Guided walking tour of Stone Town – explore spice markets, Sultan’s Palace, Old Fort,
and winding alleys.
Afternoon: Free time for shopping or rooftop lunch.
Evening: Traditional dhow cruise with sunset drinks.
