Discover the beauty and diversity of Tanzania on this 8-day adventure combining nature, culture, and wildlife. Begin with a visit to the Materuni Waterfalls, where you can enjoy breathtaking scenery and experience local coffee traditions. Then, take on a day hike on Mount Kilimanjaro via the Marangu Route, giving you a taste of the world’s highest freestanding mountain without the full summit trek.
The journey continues with a 6-day safari through Tanzania’s most iconic national parks, including Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, where you’ll encounter the Big Five and immerse yourself in unforgettable wildlife moments.
This well-rounded tour offers a perfect balance of cultural encounters, mountain adventure, and thrilling game drives—ideal for travelers who want to experience Tanzania’s highlights in one remarkable trip.

Day 0 : Pickup to Airport
You will be picked up from airport. From there you will go to the hotel in Moshi for an orientation on your trek. Your guides will be there to provide you with details on your trek and will also check your trekking gears.
DAY 1: Materuni Waterfall & Coffee Tour
• Morning Pickup: Depart from Moshi around 9:00 AM (pickup times may vary by provider). Drive through rolling farmland to Materuni village (~45 minutes).
• Waterfall Hike (~40 min): Begin a guided walk through lush terrain, learning about Chagga culture, local agriculture, and plant life. On a clear day, catch glimpses of Kilimanjaro summit
• Materuni Waterfall: Reach the base of this majestic 70–90 m waterfall and enjoy a refreshing swim in its cool, clear pool—don’t forget your swimwear.
• Coffee Plantation Experience: Return to Materuni village for a traditional Chagga coffee-making demonstration. Learn each step—from picking beans to roasting, grinding, and brewing—while joining in singing and dancing. Sample the coffee you helped make.
• Lunch: Enjoy a traditional Chagga lunch, often including local dishes and optional banana beer, served at a family home or farm setting.
• Afternoon Return: Depart Materuni by late afternoon, heading back to Moshi with a memorable blend of nature, culture, and coffee aromas.

Pickup: ~9:00 AM → Hike: ~40 min each way → Swimming/Lunch → Coffee demo → Return by 4:00–5:00 PM

DAY 2: Day Hike to Mandara Hut and Return
• Morning: After breakfast at your hotel in Moshi, meet your guide and drive approximately 1 hour to the Marangu Gate of Kilimanjaro National Park.
• Park Registration: Complete the registration formalities and begin your hike through the rainforest zone, where you may spot Colobus monkeys, colorful birdlife, and towering Eucalyptus trees.
• Hike: Trek up to Mandara Hut (2,700m), with an optional side trip to the scenic Maundi Crater, which offers panoramic views of Northern Tanzania and parts of Kenya.
• Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch at the Mandara Hut area.
• Descent: After lunch, descend back through the forest to the park gate and return by vehicle to Moshi.

DAY 3: Arusha/Moshi to Arusha National Park
In the early morning, we will start hotel in Moshi/Arusha and drive you to Arusha National Park. The game drive will travel along the shores of Momella lakes and through the bronzed bush where the Ngurdoto Crater Buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, warthogs, zebras and Gazelle reside throughout the year. The elusive leopards and elephants tend to be shy at Arusha but there is a chance of spotting them. Renowned for flawless memories, the Northern Circuit Safari offers more than the most exquisite game drives. You will have walking safari in the forest. The stroll is a chance to feel the sensation Africa vibrant pulse through the soles of your feet and experience the bush at its core. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger for the walk. He will guide you through the luscious forest up to the crystal waterfall and lead you to the area for viewing the black and white colobus monkeys. After late afternoon proceed back to Arusha Accommodation Public campsite/ Tented campsite/ Lodges Meals: Water is included in all meals .
DAY 4: Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Soon after breakfast, you will continue to the beautifully park scenic heaven that contains a high diversity of bird’s species (Tarangire National Park). The African elephant is the largest mammal on land and the herds in the park are a remarkable sight. Tarangire’ s wildlife includes elephants, lions, giraffes, warthogs, ostriches, impalas, cheetah, mongoose, buffaloes, and baboons. We will drive to Mto wa Mbu and reach in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight. The Northern Circuit safari surely is a memorable one. Accommodations: Public campsite/ Tented campsite/ Lodges Meals: Water is included in all meals .
DAY 5: Mto wa Mbu to Serengeti National Park
You will continue your journey to Serengeti National Park. It contains the world's largest concentration of wildlife including zebra, gazelles, lions, wildebeest, elephants and giraffe. The seasonal migration of the masses of wildebeest is a magnificent sight. Serengeti means 'The Land that Moves on Forever' and the splendid plains of savannah validate this. We will stop for lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) and then the game drive will journey further into the park. Once the game drive is over, we will proceed to the Serengeti where an appetizing dinner and overnight will be provided. DAY6: Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
On this day, our early morning game drive is exhilarating. The calls of the animals are clear and scents of crisp air linger. Tracks left by predators on the prowl are untouched and could lead us to their den. The splendid rays of orange, pink and purple start to emerge on the horizon as the birdsmelo dies begin to harmonize. The park is home to leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, elands, wild dogs, crocodiles, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos and various antelope. A delicious lunch will be served at the park. In the afternoon, we will drive you to the Ngorongoro Crater rim. Accommodations: selection of Clients, Public campsite/ Tented campsite/ Lodges Meals: Water is included in all meals .
DAY 7: Ngorongoro Crater to Lake Manyara National Park
On this fifth day, we will descend to the Ngorongoro Crater early in the morning. We will have a scrumptious picnic lunch and go on a game drive. The large amount of wildlife as well as the fauna and flora are traits that attribute towards the title of Africa Garden of Eden. Due to the lofty structure, few animals migrate in and out of the crater, so there is a big chance of seeing every member of the Big 5 in one day. You could also encounter vultures, zebra, hippo, wildebeest and hyenas. The alkaline lake attracts flamingos, geese and storks. Our dedicated, skilled, and experienced guides will ensure that you discover all the glorious wonders of nature in your tour. Explore Ngorongoro. DAY 8: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha.
On this tour, more attractive treats are in store for you. Extending for miles along the emerald base of the gold flecked Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara National Park can only be described as an array of vistas. Giraffes that are so dark in coloration, they appear to be black from a distance and the tree climbing lions roam the savannah plains. Monkeys climbing to the canopies of the forest whilst the hippos disguise themselves in the waters of the soda lake. With over four hundred species, Lake Manyara is a birdwatcher delight and attraction. Discover some of the wildlife includes buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, mongoose, klipspringer and bushbuck. A lovely picnic lunch will be served in the park and after the game drive, we will drive back to Arusha.
